Indecent exposure cases
KINGWOOD, Texas – Houston police on Thursday released the sketch of a suspect wanted in at least six indecent exposure cases in the Kingwood area.
In a press release, the Houston Police Department indicated all of the cases were reported starting in November 2012.
"We want to find this guy before he chooses to escalate or before he fills the need to step up what’s he’s doing," said Dwayne Ultrich with the Houston Police Department.
Police said the suspect approached female victims in the stairwell or the parking lot of an apartment complex. He then would expose himself and leave the scene.
HPD said all six incidents occurred at the Discovery at Kingwood apartment complex at 150 Northpark Plaza Drive.
"Yeah, it’s definitely scary," said Tina Krivi, a resident. "I live with my boyfriend, but I’m home by myself a lot."
The crimes happened on the following dates and times:
- November 28, 2012: 11:05 p.m.
- December 2, 2012: 11:50 p.m.
- December 31, 2012: 12:25 a.m.
- February 17, 2013: 12:01 a.m.
- April 6, 2013: 10:15 p.m.
- April 20, 2013: 1:15 a.m.
Witnesses told police in at least one of the incidents, the suspect left the scene in a white 2009 to 2012 four-door Nissan Altima.
The flasher is a slim, white male in his 30s. He’s about 6 feet tall. He is believed to have shaved his head to change his appearance, police said.
The suspect wore different clothes during the incidents, including a dark hoodie, a black long sleeve shirt, a dark blue jogging suit or a gray T-shirt and no pants. He was also seen wearing a black baseball cap and round clear glasses.
They aren’t sure if the suspect lives in the same complex or somewhere else.
Anyone with information in these cases or on the identity of the wanted suspect is urged to contact the HPD Kingwood Patrol Station at 281-913-4500 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
