HOUSTON -- The wind gusts will be stronger on Tuesday, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. The temperature will also drop about 10 degrees from how we started off the work week.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-50’s. There’s a slight chance we could see a sprinkle overnight, but rain chances are less than 10 percent.

At the bus stop Tuesday morning, it will be in the upper 50’s as the kids head out the door.

There’s a high fire danger. Winds will be gusting up to 35 mph and in spots, it could reach 40 mph.

During the day on Tuesday, it’ll only be in the upper 60’s. It will cool down quickly in the evening.

It turns colder on Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight lows will be in the 30’s and afternoon highs will be in the mid-60’s.

Our next chance for a good rain shower is Sunday evening into Monday.
