Houston forecast: Windy, chilly evening

HOUSTON -- If you’re heading out to the Rodeo Monday night, be sure to wear a jacket, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. Temps will be in the upper 40’s and low 50’s by the time the Rodeo ends.

Red flag warnings are in effect for all of southeast Texas.

It’s very windy outside. Winds will continue to gust up to 40 mph throughout the evening. Wind gusts up to 20 mph will continue into Tuesday morning.

Overnight lows will be the upper 30’s and low 40’s. Your kids will need a coat as they head to the bus stop.

It gets a little colder each morning you wake up thought the end of the week. Lows will be around 40 degrees for the next week.
