HOUSTON – We have nice chilly temperatures heading to the Houston area, but we’ll be in the low-80’s until then, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Thursday will be sunny with just a few clouds and an afternoon high in the low-80s.
Friday’s forecast also calls for a warm and sunny afternoon, but we’ll start to see a few changes on Saturday.
“Saturday will be mostly dry until the afternoon hours when we could start to see a few showers come in off the coast,” said Johnson. “Sunday night into Monday morning we’ll be tracking our next front. This is what is going to increase our rain chances – mainly for your overnight hours.”
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain on Saturday and 40-percent chance on Sunday.
Through the weekend temps will be in the 80s, but by Monday the afternoon high will drop into the low-60s.
