HOUSTON –- Southeast Texas will be warm and cloudy on Monday afternoon leading up to a big chance for rain on Tuesday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“We’ll have warm and humid temperatures this afternoon,” said Johnson. “Our temperatures will be above average in the 80s. We’ll stay mostly dry today, but tomorrow we’ll see about a 50-percent chance of rain.”
Tuesday’s rain will also bring cooler temperatures. In the afternoon hours tomorrow we’ll top out in the mid-70s.
On Wednesday the rain chance jumps up to 60-percent with daytime temps in the 70s.
By Thursday, the rain chance decreases to 20-percent with an afternoon high in the mid-60s.
Friday through the weekend look pleasant with no chance for rain, but the temperatures will start to approach 80 degrees again by the start of your next work week.
