HOUSTON –- It will be sunny and on the cool side even through your afternoon hours Monday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“We are going to build temperatures back into the upper-50s and lower-60s this afternoon, but that’s still well below average for this time of year,” said Johnson. “We’re going to stay mostly dry this week, but we are tracking the chance for a few sprinkles heading into this weekend.”
Overnight temps heading into early Tuesday morning will drop into the upper-30s. Daytime temperatures Tuesday will only be a couple degrees warmer.
On Wednesday, the sunny skies continue with daytime temps in the mid-60s.
Thursday will be closer to 70 degrees with a few more clouds in the sky and a slight chance of rain.
The rain chance continues as our daytime temps jump heading into the weekend. By the end of the week we’ll be back in the mid-70s with overnight temperatures in the 50s.
