HOUSTON -- There’s a slight chance for rain and thunderstorms on Monday as big weather changes approach southeast Texas, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
On Monday we’ll top out in the upper-70s under mostly sunny skies.
“Isolated showers return today,” said Johnson. “You’ll see about a 20-percent chance of maybe just a few sprinkles out the door. It’s really tomorrow that our next front is going to arrive, late Tuesday.”
Tuesday we have a 60-percent chance for rain and thunderstorms with an afternoon high in the upper-70s.
Wednesday through the weekend will be much nicer – mostly sunny skies and daytime temps in the upper-60s. Overnight temps will be in the 40s.
