HOUSTON -- The rain showers and thunderstorms will move into the Houston area early Wednesday morning, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.
Overnight lows will be in the mid-50’s.
By midnight, it will still be dry in our area as the storm system moves in from central Texas.
By 3 a.m., the storms will move into our northern counties. The best chance for rain in Huntsville, Conroe and The Woodlands is between 3 and 6 a.m.
By 6 a.m. the storms will push further south. The showers should weaken as the move into Houston, but the rain chances are most strong between 6 and 9 a.m. from midtown to the coast.
Between 9 a.m. and noon the rain goes away. We’ll dry out and the sun will come through. Afternoon highs will be in the mid-70’s.
