HOUSTON –- There’s a good chance for rain in the Houston area Wednesday as a line of showers and thunderstorms approach from the west, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“You are going to be dealing with some spotty showers this morning, but you’re mainly going to need that umbrella this afternoon,” said Johnson. “An area of low pressure moving in from the west will probably fire up the showers and thunderstorms later today.”
There’s a 70-percent chance of rain today with a forecast high of 68 degrees.
Thursday and Friday we’ll have sunny skies with temperatures in the mid-70s.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday we have a new chance for rain as temperatures drop back into the low-70s heading into our work week.
