HOUSTON – We could get some rainfall on Easter Sunday, but don’t worry, it won’t be enough to ruin any outdoor plans, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.

There is a 30-percent chance for rain Sunday afternoon with high temps topping off just under 80 degrees.

The morning will start off with fair-weather clouds, but  by 5 p.m., a storm system moves in and the northern counties could have a thunderstorm or two, Gomez said.

Our spring-like weather continues on Monday with an afternoon high of 80 degrees.

But the cold weather returns Tuesday through the end of the work week with high temps in the 50s and 60s and lows in the 40s.
