HOUSTON -- We’re getting ready for a wet weekend in the Houston area.
Overnight Thursday, you can expect more clouds and moisture. For the first time in four mornings, you’ll wake up Friday without freezing conditions.
There’s a slight chance of rain during the day. Throughout the day, we’ll be under cloudy skies with a 20-percent chance of rain. On Saturday, the chance of showers increases to 40-percent.
“Our best chance of rain this weekend will be overnight Saturday into Sunday,” said KHOU 11 Meteorologist David Paul.
Tailgaters for the Texans-Colts should prepare for wet conditions.
As we look ahead to the holidays, the 12-day forecast shows temps will dip on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There’s a high of 42 on Christmas Eve. Temps will then dip down to freezing overnight, and the high for Christmas Day is 45.
