HOUSTON – A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday, but after that we should have a beautiful day ahead of us.

Temperatures were in the 50s across the area in the early morning hours. Some parts of town had visibility of less than 1/4 mile.

As for the rest of the day, the weather will be a mix of clouds and sun, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

"It's pretty mild this morning, but we're just going to warm up from here," said Johnson. "We'll top out at around 80-degrees, and we're going to see this again for our Thanksgiving forecast."

There's a 20-percent chance for rain on Friday.

High temperatures drop back into the upper-60s by Saturday.
