HOUSTON—Big changes are coming Thursday as a cold front moves into the area, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.
The day will begin with lows in the mid-to-upper 60s and highs will reach the low 70s by the afternoon. There’s a 30-percent rain chance and we’ll see north winds with gusts up to 25 MPH.
“It will be the wind that you really feel as it continues to strengthen throughout the day,” he said. “We may have a fire danger as well because of the wind.”
The cold front will cause the temperature to drop on Friday morning to the mid-40s. The high for the day is only 67 degrees.
After another chilly morning on Saturday, a warming trend begins and temps will near 80 degrees on Sunday and Monday.
