HOUSTON -- A cold front will move into the Houston area around 11 a.m. Thursday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.

Overnight temperatures will be in the mid-60s. There might be some rain, especially in the first part of Thursday, so be sure to grab a jacket and an umbrella before you head out the door.

Once the cold front moves in during the lunch hour, the temperature will drop. Expect temps to be in the low 60s Thursday afternoon.

A Wind Advisory will also be in effect between 1-10 p.m. Thursday. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

Cool temps continue on Friday. There will be a north wind of 20 mph and a high temperature of only 67 degrees.

Lows Friday and Saturday morning will be in the 40s.

The weekend looks good with sunny skies and temps in the mid-70s. Temperatures will be back in the 80s starting Monday.
