HOUSTON -- We’ll have a temporary break from the rain, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul. Our next chance for rain comes on Friday and Saturday.

The immediate Houston area got 1/10 of an inch of rain on Wednesday. Once the storm system moved out, it turned into a windy and sunny day.

Wednesday evening will be beautiful. It’ll be 65 degrees at 7 p.m. The temperature will drop to the upper 50’s by 10 p.m.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-40’s in our northern counties. Areas from Houston to the coast will have overnight lows in the upper 40’s.

Thursday will be rain-free, but the clouds will begin to increase in the afternoon. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sun with temps in the mid-70’s.

There’s a slight rain chance on Friday.

We could see a few thunderstorms throughout the day on Saturday. The high will be 76 degrees and there’s a 30-percent chance for showers and storms
