HOUSTON—While extreme weather and tornadoes threaten in Oklahoma, weather patterns remain largely the same in Houston, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Gene Norman.

It will remain muggy and balmy in the overnight hours with temperatures in the mid-70s and climb into the mid-80s by Tuesday afternoon.

"This month is going down on record as our 6th warmest April, the average high about 4 degrees higher than normal," said Norman.

There will be a slight chance of isolated sprinkles north of town by morning, and possibly more showers again towards the end of the week.
