HOUSTON -- It will definitely not rain on our parade today because the weather is going to be absolutely perfect on Thanksgiving, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
“It should be a delightful day for a parade and a warm afternoon with shorts for everybody else,” Gomez said.
Thursday kicked off a bit on the foggy side, with lows in the 60s and highs are going to warm up quite nicely to 80 degrees.
The extended forecast shows temperatures will drop a few degrees as the weekend progresses with lows in the upper-50s Friday, then the lower-40s Saturday and Sunday. Highs will range from the mid-60s to lower-70s.
Have a great Thanksgiving, and make sure you come out to the downtown Houston Holiday Parade on Thursday morning!
