Houston Forecast: Windy, clear skies Tuesday

HOUSTON – A Wind Advisory and Red Flag Warning will remain in effect until 6 p.m. as the Houston-area will still some strong wind gusts Tuesday afternoon, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said.

Most of the KHOU 11 viewing area will see sustained winds of 20 mph and wind gusts from 30-40 mph. The temperature should remain steady this afternoon at about 68 degrees with clear skies.

The winds are expected to die down by Wednesday morning. Highs will stay in the mid-60s for the rest of the work week.
