HOUSTON — The Houston area will get a small break from the fall weather this weekend as temps climb back up into the 80s, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

Overnight temps will start out in the low-70s before warming up to the mid-80s Sunday afternoon.

Temps will be in the upper-70s for the noon start of the Houston Texans game against the Oakland Raiders at Reliant Stadium.

It’s going to be unseasonably warm for tailgating in the parking lot. There is also a 20 percent chance for rain with a stray shower here and there.

Overnight temps Sunday night will drop back down into the mid-60s. High will be in the mid-70s for the start of the work week.

By Tuesday the clouds will start to move out after a front moves through, and our daytime temperatures will drop back into the 60s.
