HOUSTON — Scattered showers were moving in off the coast early Tuesday afternoon, and more rain is expected in the coming days, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“The rain has a chance of making it further inland over the next 24 hours,” said Johnson.
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain on Tuesday with a forecast high of 93 degrees.
The rain chance jumps to 30 percent Wednesday through the weekend as daytime temps stay in the low- to mid-90s.
Next week the scattered clouds stick around along with a chance for rain.
