HOUSTON – Temperatures were on the cold side early Tuesday leading up to what should be a pleasant afternoon, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“It’s all about the cold, and you know it’s going to be here pretty much all week long,” said Johnson. “There are no big changes in the forecast. We’re going to continue with these cool mornings and then really a pleasant afternoon.”
Temperatures north of Houston were in the 30s while areas south of I-10 were in the 40s. By Tuesday afternoon we’ll top out in the mid-60s.
We'll have partly cloudy skies later in the day.
Looking at the seven-day forecast, overnight lows will remain cold with our afternoons only getting to about 70 degrees.
There’s a slight chance for rain Sunday and Monday.
