HOUSTON – The work week will start off pleasant after the Greater Houston area received almost 6 inches of rain over the weekend, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Overnight lows will dip into the lower-60s, and there could be some isolated showers Monday morning.
There is still a 20 percent chance of rain Monday, and those in the western portions of the KHOU 11 viewing area could see some isolated showers in the afternoon.
For the most part, Monday should be a pleasant day with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will likely peak at 82 on Monday and Tuesday.
However, another cold front could bring record temperatures and more rain for the start of May on Thursday and Friday.
By the end of the next work week, temps will dip down into the high 60’s. Download our free HOU Weather app on your iPhone or Android featuring 12-hour forecasts, radars, conditions, coastal weather, satellite imagery and web cams. Also, look for our WeatherCaster iPad app in the App Store.
