HOUSTON – The weekend’s wet weather will continue Sunday with more scattered showers, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
There is a 50 percent chance of rain Sunday with storms first developing in the morning in the coastal communities. Later in the afternoon, scattered shows will hit the Houston metro area much like they did on Saturday.
Highs will peak again at 92 in the afternoon with the showers dissipating by 7 p.m.
Temps will start the climb once the new work week begins with highs reaching triple-digits by Friday.
