HOUSTON – Temperatures will drop down to the low-60s Thursday evening after peaking in the low-70s this afternoon, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.
The communities in the southwest side of the KHOU 11 viewing area may see some light rain this evening as a small group of showers moves in from the Corpus Christi and coastal areas.
There is about a 20 percent chance of rain overnight, which will carry us into Friday with partly cloudy skies for the morning commute.
The chance of rain should increase as the weekend progresses with 20 percent on Saturday and 40 percent on Sunday.
