HOUSTON – Scattered rain with some heavy downpours will continue to move through the Houston area through the weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
"We will get a break tomorrow," said Paul. “But there will be a couple showers on Thursday."
The showers will be lighter Thursday, but we could start to see heavier rain showers kick in early Friday.
There’s a 20-percent rain chance on Thursday and 60-percent on Friday.
The rain chance carries over into Saturday and Sunday before we finally start to see a little clearing on Monday.
Daytime temperatures next week will get back into the lower-90s as the skies clear out.
