HOUSTON – It will be hot and muggy in Southeast Texas on Monday, but cooler temperatures and more rain are on the way, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
There is only a 20-percent chance for rain today. Chita says our 'feels like' temps will be between 100 and 105 degrees.
Come Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the chance for rain increases to 40-percent as a cold front parks north of the Houston area acting as a trigger for showers to develop.
Daytime high temps will drop from the upper-90s to the upper-80s by the end of the week.
This weekend will be sunnier with high temps in the low-90s and overnight temperatures in the upper-70s.
