HOUSTON – A cold front moving through the area late Saturday could drop temperatures by as much as 10 degrees overnight, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
On Saturday, there is still a 40 percent chance of rain as stray showers develop in parts of the Houston area.
Highs will peak at 90 this afternoon before they drop down to the low-60s overnight.
After the cold front moves through overnight, expect to see high in the upper-70 for the Houston area.
We’re keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Karen which is making its way toward Louisiana. It’s not expected to impact Texas, but over the weekend it could make landfall anywhere from Louisiana to Florida.
