Houston Forecast: Breezy afternoon, cold night

HOUSTON – Expect the cold temperatures to continue as the cloud coverage moves out of the area Tuesday afternoon, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said.

Temperatures should get up to the mid-60s Tuesday afternoon after the staying in the mid-55s most of the morning. After the clouds clear out, the temperatures will drop back down to the low-40s later in the evening.

Winds will come from the north, northwest at about 15 mph making for a breezy afternoon.

A slight chance of rain returns later this week through the weekend, but temperatures will remain on the cool side through at least Thursday.
