PEARLAND, Texas — The Pearland Crawfish Festival will be held this weekend in, you guessed it, Pearland.
KHOU 11 News reporter Mia Gradney got a sneak peek at the event on Friday morning.
The Pearland Crawfish Festival plans on boiling up tons (literally) of delicious, spicy crawfish. It will also host a world of great food, lively music, vendors, games, and more in the friendly, relaxed fun and community feel of a small town fair and serves it up big.
From their website:
“The area’s best Zydeco bands provide the infectious rhythms where the Bayou meets the Bay, and The Houston Blues Society will bring in the blues. There will be crawfish eating contests, beanbag tournament, vendors of gifts, arts and crafts and more. A Children’s Area and the Happy Happy World CarnivalWorld Shows Carnival will provide professional rides and plenty of activities and fun for kids. All of Pearland is excited to join in and help show the world all that makes life here so special.”
