GALENA PARK, Texas -- Despite his desperate attempt to outrun the law, a hit-and-run suspect was caught by Houston police following a lengthy pursuit.
Police said it was around 4 a.m. when a gray Ford F-150 hit several parked cars at a motel parking lot off of Highway 290 near Antoine. Officers gave chase, saying the suspect reached speeds of 100 miles per hour while racing inbound.
The suspect got on I-45 and then I-10 East.
The entire chase lasted about 35 minutes before it came to an end on a dead-end gravel road in Galena Park.
Police said the man faces, at the very least, a charge of evading arrest.
