HOUSTON—Monday started out warm and muggy, despite a weak frontal boundary trying to give the Houston area relief from the humidity, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Monday kicked off with lows in the lower-70s, highs were expected to top off in the lower-90s and there is a 20-percent chance for isolated showers.
High temperatures the rest of the week will remain in the mid- to low-90s with a 10- to 30-percent chance of isolated showers, so keep an umbrella handy.
Tropical weather will also be a concern this week as Tropical Storm Isaac could be brewing by Wednesday near the eastern Caribbean.
