HOUSTON - Harry Pepper plays in a league at the Palace Lanes in Bellaire. He may be 102, but his fellow bowlers say he seems more like 60.
On Monday, Pepper was out there throwing strikes and picking up spares. He said it’s a lot of fun.
“At my age that’s about all I can do is bowl,” Pepper said. “I can’t run track any more. I can’t ride my bike anymore.”
Pepper said he does not have a secret to longevity. He said it’s just family genes. He said that his aunt lived to be 106.
