NEW ORLEANS -- Susan Caillouet had just gotten freshened up with a haircut when the 68-year-old got the scare of her life.
“A white trash son of a gun came and pulled me out of my car and cut me up and took me out of my car.”
The carjacking happened here in the 200 block of Veterans Boulevard in Metairie.
Sheriff Newell Normand said the attacker, armed with a broken bottle, cut Caillouett on the arm and the neck.
“He punched me, cut my neck and pushed me on the ground,” she said.
Caillouett said the man at first said he wanted her to take him someplace.
“And I told him no. And then he tried to push me into the passenger side, and I said stop it.”
Then she said he pulled her out of the car, punched her, cut her and then jumped back into the car and sped off.
Investigators say the carjacker drove off in Caillouett's white 2004 Chevrolet 4-door Cavalier bearing Louisiana license plate NWL309.
The alleged carjacker is described as a white man in his mid-20s, about 5’6” or 5’7” tall, with a thin build and a bald head.
He also had multiple tattoos on his head, face and neck.
