HOUSTON – Thousand of runners got on their mark in downtown Houston Saturday morning and ran for in the Komen Race for a Cure.
The annual event raises money for breast cancer research and has grown over its 23 years. This year more than 26,000 runners took part.

Saturday’s event actually included several races including a 5k for experienced runners, and more casual one for families and kids.
