MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – It was just after 12 a.m. Thursday when a business owner in Montgomery County opened fire on a man he said was trying to steal from his business. The sheriff’s office said a 911 call came in reporting a theft in progress on F.M. 1314 at Live Oak. The caller said he was holding a suspect at gunpoint, according to deputies.
