HOUSTON -- Police said early Thursday the driver who led officers on a chase died when his pickup truck slammed into a northeast Houston home, narrowly missing a sleeping woman. According to the Houston Police Department, the suspect left a bar on Irvington near Crosstimbers just before 2 a.m. The driver allegedly almost ran another car off the road, and didn’t pull over for police when they tried to stop him.
