HOUSTON -– Surveillance cameras were rolling as two masked men watched for passing cars and then broke into a corner store in far southwest Houston to get some quick cash early Thursday morning. According to the Houston Police Department, it was around 3 a.m. when the two men pried their way through a metal gate to get into the Shop & Go store in the 12200 block of Bissonnet near Cook Road. Once inside the store, the men then climbed through the roof to enter the locked clerk’s register booth.
