HIGHLANDS, Texas – Firefighters said they responded to a midnight fire Thursday that burned an elderly woman’s mobile home. According to the Highlands Fire Department, the fire was reported on Clear Lake Road at N 11th Street. Responders were able to quickly knock down the blaze, but not before it burned most of the property.
