HOUSTON –- A late-night crash sent a driver to the hospital in critical condition in north Harris County, deputies said Tuesday. The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. on Aspen Bend Drive near Misty Forest Court. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of a white sedan was speeding in wet weather when he lost control at a curve in the road. The vehicle hit a brick mailbox and then slammed into a tree.
