HOUSTON – Investigators with the Houston Fire Department said early Wednesday an apartment fire may have been intentionally set by an arsonist. HFD said firefighters were called to a complex on Hayes Road around 5:30 a.m. They found flames shooting out the window of a second floor apartment unit. They made a fast attack and kept it from spreading, but the flames still damaged two units.
