HOUSTON – Two men were seriously injured early Thursday after a speeding driver lost control and slammed into a tree, according to Houston police.
The men were speeding westbound on Parker when the driver lost control going over the railroad tracks at Hirsch, then went airborne. Their vehicle plowed through a chain link fence, ran into a field and slammed head-on into a tree.
Both men were trapped and had to be freed by HFD Heavy Rescue.
They were both transported to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.
