HOUSTON—Investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire that broke out at a vacant home in north Houston early Tuesday.
Houston firefighters arrived to find a single-story, wood-framed home fully engulfed in flames around 2:20 a.m.
The home had been recently vacated, but the homeowner lived about a mile away.
A neighbor saw the fire and alerted the homeowner.
The homeowner believes the fire had been intentionally set, but that has not been confirmed.
