HOUSTON— Don't hang your coat up yet, Wednesday is expected to bring another day of cold weather to the Houston area.
After a light freeze rolls in, the coldest temperatures will hit the lower 30s, 11 News Meteorologist Gene Norman said.
“It will be cold, not that windy, but temperatures may not get out the 40s,” he said. “A cloudy and cold day [is expected] as we await that rain and that sleet and snow mix.”
While it’s expected to be dry on Wednesday, the wintry precipitation creeps into the picture on Thursday. That's when the highs may not get out of the 30s.
Norman said a cold rain is expected to fall Thursday through Friday morning, and then we may see some sunshine for Saturday. The rain could return again on Valentine’s Day.
“Valentine's Day, right now, looks to be a soggy affair,” he said.
