VIRGINIA - A health care company in Virginia is hoping a dog can help encourage patients who’ve lost a limb.
The pup named Lily is herself an amputee and uses a prosthetic paw. Therapists plan to use her to show patients that they can be active, productive and happy with a prosthetic.
The golden retriever pup is only 11 weeks old. Her training to become a therapy dog will begin in about four months.
