PORTLAND – At 12 days old, the Oregon Zoo's lion cubs are barely able to walk. On Thursday, they got their first checkup, revealing all three cubs are female.

Vets did the check-up a day earlier than planned because one cub wasn't interacting and was slightly underweight.

The zoo gave the cub a little extra food then returned the babies to their mom "Neka."

The zoo said in a month or two if the cubs are healthy and the weather's warm enough, the cubs will make their public debut.
