AUSTIN -- Right up there alongside the big name actors Sunday night was a University of Texas student.
Jennifer Brofer won a contest to be one of six presenters at the Academy Awards.
She hand-delivered the Oscar for best supporting actor and best actor.
Her own short video clip and an essay helped her win her way to Los Angeles and she hopes this is just the beginning.
"I hope to be a producer and or a director, possibly, so I graduate next spring, and I'm just looking foward to it and looking forward to growing as a filmmaker," Brofer said.
Brofer served in the U.S. Marines for 10 years and deployed to Afghanistan for a year.
She'll be back home Monday after spending the last week in California.
