HOUSTON -– The Houston Cougars take on USF on national TV on Halloween night, so of course the team will wear something special come gametime.

Over the weekend head coach Tony Levine, a known prankster, revealed the Halloween-night uniforms to the team.

When he pulled the sheet off the mannequin, which then fell on its face, the Houston football team didn’t appear to be too excited by the low-quality black uniforms with red lettering and the team's regular red helmet. That is, until they saw the real uniforms -- red on black with white trim around the lettering and a black facemask.

The Cougars take on USF at Reliant at 6 p.m. It’ll air nationally on ESPN 2. The special Halloween black, white, and red uniforms will be available for fans to bid on in an auction that begins Oct. 27 and runs through Nov. 10 on www.UHCougars.com.
