HOUSTON – Two people were injured Friday in a boating accident in northeast Harris County.
It happened at about 3:30 p.m. just south of Lake Houston and north of Highway 90.
One person managed to swim to the shore, but firefighters had to rescue the other person. Witnesses said the man may have had a broken leg.
Both of the individuals were taken to the hospital.
