More than a decade after a man said he robbed a store in Tennessee he returned the cash he took with interest.

The owners of a food market in Nashville received an envelope with $400 and a handwritten note inside.

“The letter just basically says, ‘I’m a drug addict,’ and it says, ‘11-12 years ago and I robbed the store with a gun,’” said the shop owner’s son Somboon Wu.

The man said he stole $300 from the store and at the end of his note he asked for forgiveness.
