BANGKOK – It was a trip of a lifetime to see my brother who lives as a retiree in Thailand.
My son Luke and I started out in Bangkok, where we visited some of the Buddhist temples or “wats,” and checked out the Grand Palace.
We rode a tuk tuk, which is a kinda like a golf cart with three wheels. They are iconic on the streets of Bangkok.
We also took a boat ride to the Floating Market, where food vendors set up their boats with pots and grills and prepare your lunch.
The Island of Koh Chang has become quite popular as a resort. “Chang” means “elephant” and we rode one through the jungle.
